El Copitas Bar

The only Russian bar to make the international "Best 50 bars" list. A place where you feel at home, even if you come for the first time. It's really impossible to walk into El Copitas from the street. The bar is open 3 days a week and it is better to book a table in advance, knowing the exact number of guests: if your company is joined by new companions, they may not be allowed in. The reason is high demand and small area of the place thanks to which the atmosphere of a Mexican family dinner is created.

As soon as you get inside, you'll be served tequila with sangrita and the obligatory preface: drink it while imagining a kiss with the person you love. A huge table in the center of the room, burning candles, semi-darkness, an image of St. Catherine - the patron saint of the dead, a portrait of Frida Kahlo and colorful painted skulls will put you in the right mood and help you forget that you are still in the Northern Capital. On the chalk board at the entrance you will see the current menu, which changes every week, the cocktails and appetizers in the bar are unique and never repeat. All drinks are based on tequila or mescal, and the alcohol is carefully served with cool water - you can and should drink it for free, in any quantity.
