If you want to get closer to the real Smolensk, plan a trip to Zadneprovsky market ("Kolhozka"). It's easy to find it: take a cab to Kolhozna Square or ask any Smolensk resident for directions. The indoor grocery market is a veritable monument to the Soviet Union, with long rows of stores lined with small tiles and remnants of mosaics, with a large mosaic panel under the ceiling, and the traditional blue scales at the counters. You can find everything here (from flowers to a pig's head), but we are interested in something special.

Go through the main entrance, reach the last shopping line, turn left, and go forward. You're looking for the famous Milkshakes outlet.It retains the equipment, decor, and charm of the late '80s.
